Ethnography research
As the most important part of this project, we spent 5 weeks to learn and to do ethnography research. The main goal is to get a better understanding of people and to discover the design opportunities by using ethnomethodology to get touch with local people.
I teamed up with Jordi and George, we decided go to a main Cafe place in the campus where is the most popular social place in the city.

Teamwork
This 5 weeks research is teamwork with Jordi Parra and George Paravantes.
We brainstormed what information we want to know, planned the schedule, researched on the place, prepared the cultural probes, talked to people, observed them, interview them, sent out more questionnaires.....

The Cultural Probes
We want to know more about people by giving them these probes, it contains a camera, some pens, a map of the Cafe, some mood cards need to be filled and free fika(Swedish word, coffee and dessert).
They gave us a lot of feedbacks such as their feeling of the Cafe, their hobbies, what they like, what they hate... From this, we were kind of experienced their life in that day.
Organizing Datas
It took our 2 weeks to sort and analysis the datas we colloected from the research. We set up this room, put all the information on the wall, and type them down, group them, then highlight the interested ones.
Insights and Eco System
We got a huge list of interesting points, such as people want to know more about there city... People want to be the necessary person... people are always looking for new things... People like the clean places...
The eco system illustrate the relationship between the users, service and advertisement companies.
Hobb service
Hobb is a service you can subscribe the things you are interested in, and share with the people around you. Using hobb is like putting stuffs in your favorite lists, by matching and mapping the keywords, hobb will update the information everyday. For example, by typing in ski, you will get the information about the places in the city, the price of equipments, the ski group in the city, the other users who has the same interests, and also you can share your stuff to others, such as selling your stuffs or looking for people go ski together.
